The New Leader Readiness Pilot

Preparing Emerging Leaders for What Comes Next

The New Leader Readiness Pilot is a structured workforce readiness program designed to close the gap between education and real-world professional expectations. Participants ages 21 to 30 develop the leadership judgment, communication clarity, and accountability habits required to succeed in internships, early career roles, and team leadership positions.

Golf serves as the applied learning environment. Every on-course session is tied directly to a professional skill. No prior golf experience is required.

This program is made possible in part by a 2026 Make Golf Your Thing Grassroots Grant, awarded by the American Golf Industry Coalition to organizations expanding access to golf and creating opportunity for individuals from historically underrepresented communities. The GWMB Foundation is one of 69 organizations nationwide selected for 2026 funding. Read the Press Release

College students and early career professionals ages 21 to 30
